Movie Night

React
Next.js
TailwindCSS

When I'm looking for a movie, I just want to click on a genre and see what the new stuff is. I built this website to deliver on that idea. This was my first project using TailwindCSS and I really liked it. At first I disregarded the framework as it looked just like inline styles, but after using it I realized it's more like inline styles with constraints that force you design to be more cohesive.

I experimented a lot with glass-morphism here as I think the effect looks nice. Usually I don't use backdrop-filter as it's not supported by Firefox but I've seen so many nice designs using it and considering Firefox only has about a 4% market share I decided to use it (and I don't regret it?). I also really liked the backdrop-blur utility that TailwindCSS provides.
